Victim Advocate

The Victim Advocate assists the domestic violence victim in the following ways:

• Works with prosecutors
• Provides Case Management
• Referrals to counseling and/or attorneys
• Works with shelter manager with issues and assists victim in shelter with goals as needed
• Assists with Outreach by helping with protection orders
• Advocates for Protection From Abuse (PFA) hearings
• Enters data into State Database
• Assists with crisis calls
