About Domestic Violence Crisis Services

Domestic Violence Crisis Services (DVCS) is a 501 (c) 3, private nonprofit corporation governed by a board of directors made up of community volunteers.  DVCS is funded by United Way of Marshall County, United Givers of DeKalb County, ADECA and community donations.

Domestic Violence Crisis Services also has a Domestic Violence shelter, Kelley’s Rainbow, where we can house up to 16 women and children. We offer services to help you get back on your feet and to live a life violence free. We will help you fill out applications for housing, food stamps, and resources for counseling. We have a court advocate that can help with filling out Protection from Abuse paperwork and attends PfA court. We also have a Community Educator that goes into the schools and public events to educate about who we are and what we do.
